Te Anau Auto Services (TAS) has been owned by local couple Nathan & Mel Botting since 2006.  It’s a family business with their 2 kids spending some time at the garage after school.

Nathan had 7 years of prior experience as a mechanic, working at other workshops, before purchasing TAS. In the first year it was Nathan doing everything, from running the workshop to office duties by himself.  In the second year Mel was able to join him and share the load, happy to get her hands dirty.

At this point in time, with over a decade of experience as business owners, we have a great team supporting us, ranging from experienced automotive professionals with varying qualifications to young apprentices making their way in the industry. 

​

We endeavor to keep our equipment modern by upgrading regularly. We are the only workshop in the Te Anau area that has a trans flush machine. We have the most modern wheel alignment equipment in Te Anau.  These services aid us in providing full mechanical solution to our customers.
